The Hotel is exactly as described on the website. It is a delightful find in the heart of the Latin Quarter. A short walk to Notre Dame and the Seine. We were able to walk to the Luxembourg Gardens, Gardens de Tularies, and the Eiffel Tower in about an hour total. Also easy access to the bus lines and trains made travel very easy when our feet needed a rest. The staff was fantastic and so welcoming. Some spoke English fluently, some brokenly, but between their English and our broken French we were able to get along well. The breakfast buffet in the mornings is wonderful! Coffee, juice , breads and pastries, cheeses and meats, delicious yogurt, etc... a remarkable bargain to start off each day. Right across the street from the hotel is a lovely little market selling very acceptable wine at a VERY reasonable cost, to wind down each evening. When we come back to Paris, this will absolutely be our go to hotel destination!! The rooms are small, yes, but that is Europe. American travelers are used to the relatively gargantuan rooms at Holiday Inn and Hampton Inns ... thats not the European way. The bed was very comfortable, temperature control was good. The bathroom was clean, the hot water was plentiful and the water pressure was good. All in all a very nice stay! Our daughter, who is something of a world traveler for her work, declared this hotel an "incredible value"...one that she will look to stay in on future trips to Paris.

Hotel Oratio is a hidden gem, the pictures match up to the hotel. The interior is lovely, clean and neat you genuinely can’t go wrong with this place especially with the amazing location and staff! Theres lots of food places and metro stations near by and a short walk by the river straight to the Notre-Dam. I notified the staff that it was a special occasion for my partner and I , they kindly presented petals and heart balloon on the bed. Even the cafe downstairs and their toilets are super cute. The elevator is quite tiny but i guess thats Parisian life, it only fits 2 people and 2 small luggages which worked for my partner and I to be honest. I like that they have a sustainable system of providing glass bottles so you can come fill up filtered water for your room whenever you want , you have access to coffee and tea, and of course there is good free wifi to join. The staff are available around the clock, the lobby is super cosy and they are always happy to help with questions about anything. Room service cleaned up our bed, didn’t touch anything else and took all our wet towels or rubbish nicely (some places don’t even do this) I would definitely stay here again if i was ever back in Paris!

The hotel is located very close to Notre Dame Cathedral and to both metro and bus stops with connections to main points of the city. Also, most attractions are easily accessible by walk. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious when compared with other experiences we had previously in Paris. Great breakfast. We were lucky and at the check in we received un upgrade in the room. Staff is very friendly from front desk to cleaning. The hotel has coffee machine and tea available to the guests. Both room and common spaces are clean. We will stay again at this hotel next time.

The location was perfect for me! I liked the view and I loved this neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful (special kudos to Jed). I appreciated the honesty bar (station with free coffee, tea, and water) even if black tea was often unavailable. I was afraid of the bad smell and loud hood (how it could be in Parisian hotels) but the room smelled very good and there wasn't a loud hood. Some people wrote about a homeless person near the hotel I saw him too but he wasn't aggressive or something, and It didn't feel dangerous.

Very centrally located in the Latin quarter with friendly front desk who accommodated our very late check in with a smile. Convenient for the metro and walkable to the promenade along the Seine. Room was modern and clean. Extra points for allowing us to leave our luggage in reception until the afternoon of our departure after we checked out in the morning. Even more bonus points for the cleaning team bringing a forgotten pair of airpods to reception for us to collect with our luggage in the afternoon!
